Saarthi Advisory (“we”, “our”) operates saarthiadvisory.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
This policy is issued under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. Saarthi Advisory is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the message you write. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) are kept by our hosting provider for security and performance.
We use your personal data only for the purpose for which you gave it: to respond to your enquiry, to carry out an engagement you ask us to carry out, and to operate and secure this website.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing. Enquiry details are treated as confidential in the same manner as client communications. If we ever need your data for a new purpose, we will ask you first.
You give consent when you submit a form or write to us. You may withdraw that consent at any time by writing to the Grievance Officer below. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
On withdrawal we will stop processing your data, except where we are required to retain it — by law, by the record-keeping and confidentiality obligations that apply to us as a professional practice, or to establish or defend a legal claim. Where an exception applies we will tell you which one and why.
The site may use basic analytics to understand aggregate traffic. No advertising trackers are used.
Storage. This website and its database are hosted on servers operated by our hosting provider. Enquiry emails are delivered through a third-party mail service.
Transfers outside India. Some of the services we use to run this website — hosting, spam protection, analytics and email delivery — process data on servers located outside India. Where you engage us for accounting or bookkeeping services for entities outside India, your data will be processed in, or accessed from, both India and the client’s jurisdiction as the engagement requires.
We transfer personal data outside India only where permitted under the DPDP Act, and we require our service providers to keep it confidential and secure.
How long we keep it. Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Where an engagement follows, records are kept for as long as our professional and statutory obligations require, and deleted after that.
How we protect it. We apply reasonable security safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access limited to those who need it, two-factor authentication on administrative accounts, spam and bot protection on our forms, and regular backups.
No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the Act requires.

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, write to the Grievance Officer and we will delete it.
